Called to Serve as Christ Campaign

"The Called to Serve as Christ campaign is an expression of our deep gratitude to those who have gone before us, especially our bishops, priests, and religious sisters, for the tireless ways they have lived out their vocations for the Lord and for us." J. Peter Sartain, Archbishop of Seattle.

The Called to Serve as Christ campaign is an great opportunity for all to play a vital role in strengthening the Catholic Church in Western Washington. This campaign will focus on raising $100 million to strengthen our priest pension and retirement medical plans, provide support to women religious serving or who have served in the Archdiocese of Seattle, and assist key efforts in our parishes.

$100 million will accomplish the following:

  • $55 million for priests
  • $24 million for religious women
  • $15 million for parishes

Called to Serve as Christ Campaign

Make Stewardship a part of your Life!

Stewardship acknowledges God as Creator, Autor and Owner of all treasure (material goods), the giver of time and talent to every person. Stewardship is the Grateful Response of a Christian friendship in which we recognize God’s gift, receive them and share them in Love of our God and our Neighbor. Our Mission at Pacific County Catholic Parishes is to be" .... a multicultural community one with the Roman Catholic Church, united in worship, in love and in service." through responsible stewardship.

The life of a Christian steward models the life of Jesus. It is challenging and even difficult, in many respects, yet intense joy comes to those who take the risk to live as Christian stewards. Women and men who seek to live as stewards learn that “all things work for good for those who love God” (Rom 8:28). After Jesus, we look to Mary as an ideal steward. As the Mother of Christ, she lived her ministry in a spirit of fidelity and service; she responded generously to the call. We must ask ourselves: Do we also wish to be disciples of Jesus Christ and Christian stewards of our world and our Church? (from USCCB Stewardship: A Disciple's Response. 10th Anniversary Edition)

Parish Stewardship

True Stewardship is serving, taking care of and sharing all that we have, we are and we could be. For more information how you can join us in this blessed effort call our offices:

Coffee & Donuts

Coffee & Donuts

The Coffee and Donuts Ministry is taken care of by the Hospitality Team in our Parishes. Coffee and donuts are served after:

  • The 9:00 a.m. Sunday Masses in the Parish Social Hall of St Mary, Seaview (every Sunday)
  • The 11:15 a.m. Sunday Masses in the Double Class Room of St Lawrence, Raymond (every Sunday)
  • The 6:00 p.m. Sunday Masses in the Ruth Center of St. Joseph Parish @ Holy Family, Frances (only on the First Sundays of each Month)

This ministry provides an opportunity for everyone to gather in fellowship after Mass, while enjoying donuts, bagels, coffee and juice. We are always seeking volunteers to assist in various duties, including picking up the donuts, setting up, serving, and cleaning up. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow parishioners! It also offers a great chance to meet other families in the Parish and build community immediately following the Sunday Masses.

Special Coffee & Conversation with Fr. Zevi, HGN

  • Every 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month after the morning in the Parish Office Meeting Room of St Mary Parish, Seaview.
  • Every Thursdays and Fridays of the month after the morning Mass in the double classroom of St Lawrence Parish, Raymond.

Everyone welcome!
